ENCORE
Texas Graduate Center
Engaging Communities for College Readiness (ENCORE) is a program in South Texas developed by Texas Valley Communities Foundation in partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to dramatically increase the number of students ready to enroll and complete college.
The Texas Graduate Center (TGC), a component of the Texas Valley Communities Foundation, has been established to support programs in higher education that will guide new and emerging leaders in education to implement transformational change that will impact schools and communities.
MEDITEC
PASOS
MEDITEC , a component of the Texas Valley Communities Foundation,integrates human simulation technology in a way that intercepts science curriculum, connecting biology, anatomy and physiology in a real-world setting. The MEDITEC curriculum is designed in collaboration with classroom teachers from participating districts and aligned to their scope and sequence.
A component of the Texas Valley Communities Foundation,Parents learn how to create a positive educational environment at home using a number of proven academic success tools. Parents learn how grades are used for college admittance, what classes are needed for children planning to attend college and other information vital to academic success of their children.
REYBOTICS
LATINO EDUCATION
Reybotics, a component of the Texas Valley Communities Foundation, is a leader in curriculum delivery through technology. Founded by former NASA Engineer and Brownsville native Heriberto Reynoso, Reybotics strives to motivate youth to pursue STEM career paths by educating and providing opportunities to high school and college students with a passion for engineering.
Latino Education Magazine is the official news publication of the Texas Valley Communities Foundation. The publication seeks to inform the Rio Grande Valley with common interest stories and analysis of education concerning Latinos in both the region and nation.
